The Content Group Announces Partnership with Informative
Graphics Corporation
Agreement Grants Exclusive Distribution Rights for
Informative Graphics’ ProjectDox® Collaboration Platform in UK,
Ireland and Benelux
July 19, 2006: Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
Solutions provider, The Content Group (TCG), has partnered with
Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) to be the exclusive
distributor for IGC’s project content communication and
collaboration product ProjectDox®, in the UK, Ireland and
Benelux.
Ben Richmond, Managing Director of The Content Group
comments, “Many of our clients in the construction, utilities
and manufacturing sectors have to manage and collaborate on a
huge number and variety of documents – ranging from images, CAD,
purchase orders, invoices and general email correspondence such
as approvals – throughout the lifecycle of any given project.”
Richmond continues, “In order to ensure the efficient and
effective management of such projects, the sharing of relevant
and accurate information and the subsequent collaboration
between individuals involved in each project is becoming
increasingly important.”
ProjectDox is self-hosted software that enables control and
coordination of all construction-related communication,
correspondence, documents and drawings, and print ordering.
ProjectDox creates a project-specific online information centre
for all documents related to a specific project, including
images, CAD files and emails, to be stored, accessed and managed
via a web-browser interface. ProjectDox enables users to work
with the latest information at all times. In addition,
ProjectDox secures all documents and correspondence on a
per-project basis, giving project managers or directors complete
authority to control access to sensitive documents, and provides
a full audit trail on each individual document submitted,
ensuring compliance and minimising potential legal exposure.
The document collaboration tool enables the complete
digitalisation of previously paper-based tasks. The ability to
email and review documents digitally, including the likes of
large format drawings, is proven to save up to 20% of the
overall project cost, in reduced printing, postage and
efficiency gains.
Ronald Loback, Executive Vice President of Sales for IGC,
comments, “Our partnership with The Content Group is a critical
relationship for IGC as we look to build upon our successes in
North America and expand our reach into the UK and other
European markets. The Content Group’s established customer base
in construction and other verticals gives them an in-depth
knowledge and understanding of how the different technology
components can be integrated to solve both specific, immediate
business problems, as well as address a broader ECM strategy.”
Richmond concludes, “We believe that our offering to the
construction, utilities, manufacturing and other industries with
products such as ProjectDox and Brava!® is now one of the
strongest in the market. Our partnership with IGC, in
combination with other ‘best-in-class’ products across the ECM
solution set and our services capability, further enables us to
provide both ‘point-of-need’ and full-scale end-to-end ECM
solutions to our clients across the UK and Europe.”
