Partnership Aims to Help Local Government Increase Efficiency, Reduce Costs

Las Vegas (June 2, 2010) — CH2M HILL and Avolve Software Corporation today announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding for a strategic alliance to develop and deliver integrated electronic plan solutions for state and local government.

CH2M HILL provides a range of consulting and on-site services for local governments looking to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve service to citizens and promote sustainable practices. The company will fold Avolve Software’s electronic plan/document software and professional services into its services portfolio, providing customer choices for on-site system deployment, software application hosting and storage, disaster recovery management, staffing, business and technology consulting, training, technical support, finance and billing services, and operations management.

The companies point to the continuing need for local governments to provide reliable and transparent community services in the face of economic pressures to reduce near and long-term costs in all areas of government operation as key drivers for the partnership.
