The AUTOCodes Proof-of-Concept project seeks to demonstrate the viability of automated code-checking technology for 3-dimensional virtual construction models in a multi-jurisdictional context. The goal is to develop open-standard, machine-language rulesets that check construction models accurately and consistently, providing levels of information consistent with and exceeding manual and semi-automated 2-dimensional plan set review methods. Applied ruleset technology will enable jurisdictions to accept construction models for regulatory compliance, supplementing and complimenting existing tools in performing the majority of repetitive, standard code review tasks that consume valuable time and resources.

Avolve Software is working with FIATECH, Target Corporation, Solibri, the International Code Council and other key organizations to complete this important project.
