ProjectDox Application Programming Interface (API)

We believe in the concept of open software, and that customers have the right to demand that software perform the functions necessary to facilitate – not hinder – seamless data exchange between applications. We work tenaciously with our customers to overcome any barriers that present themselves when multiple vendors’ products are installed or proposed in the overall solution environment.

The ProjectDox API allows integration into existing EDMS and Permitting systems. ProjectDox can be integrated into any application and any application can integrate into ProjectDox. The multi-layer approach using web services (SOAP, XML), messaging and direct DLL access allows industry-standard integration using the most common modern programming languages. 

This fully-documented set of APIs consist of the same APIs that Avolve uses to develop and extend ProjectDox into the many permitting applications and EDMS systems currently supported. Example permitting systems include SunGard Naviline and soon OneSolution, CRW TrakIT, Accela, Inc. permitting systems (including Accela, Inc. legacy systems), and Hansen 8. Example EDMS systems include Hummingbird, Sire and OnBase.
