3D viewing support for building information models (BIM)
ProjectDox Supports Solibri Model CheckerAvolve Software is engaged in a partnership with Solibri, Inc. to extend ProjectDox support for BIM 3D model visualization and validation. Currently, Industry Foundation Class (IFC) models can be uploaded into ProjectDox and catalogued for workflow and file management. MIME–type can be set to launch the Solibri Model Checker. Modifications to IFC files saved as .SMC files must be then be uploaded into ProjectDox via the File Upload utility.
- Reports generated in Solibri and exported as PDFs are uploaded into ProjectDox as a normal PDF file. All ProjectDox file management and view/markup functions apply.
- Avolve continues to work with Solibri to provide enhanced BIM capabilities, and is ready to integrate with other products as they become available in the market.
